Last week started in earnest, ⁣⁣
my collaboration with the filmmakers who will be documenting the rest of my pregnant pandemic dances ⁣⁣
as well as the birth of this new person we will become. ⁣⁣

⁣I’ve always enjoyed playing with viewer perspective. ⁣⁣

The relationship between the viewer and the viewed becomes its own dance. ⁣⁣

It’s intimate and personal. ⁣⁣
It’s unpredictable. ⁣⁣
Like birth.⁣⁣

⁣This collaboration requires so much vulnerability on my part and these two artists create a safe space ⁣⁣
to move and breathe ⁣⁣
and invite them in.⁣⁣

⁣This dance I’ve been practicing ⁣⁣
together with this growing person ⁣⁣
has some new guests ⁣⁣
and we welcome them.⁣⁣
